How to use this site
This site was designed to implement the new Glass Nomenclature developed by the NGA (National Glass Association)
While the tool was designed to help people get familiar with codifying glass makeups the official documentation can be found here on the NGA site in their store free of charge.
Please test out the following:
- Glass Nomenclature Decoder: Enter a code and instantly receive detailed explanations in text, specification, and pipe-delimited formats.
- Visual Glass Builder: Create custom glass makeups step-by-step using our intuitive interface. Choose from a wide range of materials, interlayers, coatings, and spacers to generate a precise nomenclature code.
- Preview Functionality: This page lists out the current undocumented features that have been added to this site for testing along with explanations.
- API: Read about the documentation for API calls to use the parser without a GUI.
- About: Get a detailed explanation of how the glass nomenclature works.
